30/10/2010 - Day 112

I picked up my camera for the first time in two weeks today.  Normally you can't keep it out of my hands, but it just hasn't felt right since the time I received the call to say my Grandad had been rushed into hospital.  The only feeling I have at the moment is overwhelming sadness at my loss of a man that played such a huge part in my life, but I'm hoping, in time, that will fade, and my passion for life and photography will both return.  

This image is of the tree in my neighbours garden.  Its a tree I usually don't like as it is far to big and close to the house, and takes so much of our light, but this morning, with the beautiful blue sky and the sun shining on the golden leaves, I saw its beauty for the first time.

This was taken the split second before Alfie strangled Jack, therefore Jack pushed Alfie off, Alfie cries and ends it by having a temper, leading to him having an early night.......and you thought it was a photo of happy families didn't you......?!?!
