Welcome to my new blog. I've briefly dabbled in blogging (is that the correct term?) in the past, but I haven't really had anything to blog about, but today, whilst out again with my camera, I thought I would really like to try to take a photo every single day that represents my day. That might be a photo of something I have done, or the people I have been with, or the mood that I'm feeling. This will be a difficult discipline for me, as I find it really hard to take just one photo, or choose just one from a set I've taken. I thought for my own pleasure I would record this in a blog, but if you fancy joining me during the next 365 days, then do have a look in from time to time!
Todays picture is of Alfie, outside the BBC building in Nottingham. We were invited to BBC Radio Nottingham to be interviewed because of a competition I had won. I entered a competition on the Giraffe Restaurant website, called "take a smile". The picture was of Rich, Daisy, Jack, Carter and Alfie in the Giraffe Restaurant taken on Alfies birthday. Our prize is to have the photo included in the new Giraffe cookbook, and I win a new camera.
Alfie took to being interviewed on the radio like a duck to water, and had a wonderful time. It is just as well, as the other invited guests were so dull. Thankfully Alfie livened things up a bit!
